Laser Lipo Does Not Help Self Control!
Having Self Control Is Harder Than People Think. Heck I’ve been a trainer for 22 years and I still have problems with self control. So many things tie into this and just using a laser to reduce fat is not going to be the answer. Yes I can see the laser working that’s for sure, but when I’m stressed and depressed, it’s hard to keep my hands off of fat and sugar foods. And I’m not alone. So many people have this challenge.
What Can We Do To Overcome This Challenge?
This is something so easily said than done. In the gym I’m focused and full of energy and willing to do whatever it takes. Then I get home or away from the gym and it seems all of that motivation goes out the window. I know I’m not the only one this happens to and really, it helps me see what clients go through. Trainers that that work out of a gym most of they day are around fitness all day long. So that feeling we all get when we are working out towards our goal for that one hour, they have pretty much all day. I can say this because of experience.
So how can we get this feeling all day? For one, we need to surround ourselves with people who are on the same path and feel the same way about fitness as we do. If we don’t then we will have a difficult time. Not saying it can’t be done, but it would be a hell of a lot easier with support constantly around.
This Should Be Your First Step
If you don’t have much support or even if you do, going social should be your first step. What does “going social” mean? Using Facebook or Instagram to help you stay accountable. Use it like a blog. If you announce your troubles and what you are going to do on social media then everyone will know. If you give up, EVERYONE will know. You basically let everyone know what struggles you are having, what your plan is and if you don’t follow through you would like to be called out for it. If you need help with this let me know. Happy to guide you.
Is This Laser Lipo Really Working?
So far three treatments in and I can say yes it is. Being totally honest, I have not been staying on track with my nutrition. Been pretty bad actually. I’m tired of it and I’m going to get my ass in gear. All these Lasser companies say 8 treatments, so were going to give them the 30 days and reevaluate and let you all be the judge and decide if they are worth it or not.
I will end with this…..
All the planning in the world is no good if you don’t follow through. Be an action taker. Eliminate your excuses about lack of time, distractions, emergencies, and take action on what really matters in your life.
Write that book. Save that marriage. Raise healthy kids. Lose that weight. Reconnect with that special friend. Spend time with your family.
The time is now.
Don’t waste it!
